Opened in Spring 2005, the Clinton Cove Section of Hudson River
Park offers a boathouse, a sweeping lawn and river get-down.
Hudson River Park’s Clinton Cove section is located in
the northern-most portion of the Park, between
55th and 57th Streets, in an area of the city named for former
New York Governor DeWitt Clinton, who served from 1817-1822 and
then again from 1825-1828.
Clinton Cove features a large sweeping lawn with trees, and an
architecturally striking boathouse that can accommodate kayaks,
canoes and other small non-motorized vessels.
In addition, the Cove has a “get-down” where visitors
can get close to the water and experience the Hudson River at
a more personal scale.
