Hudson River Park is situated within a unique environment in Manhattan. With five miles of upland park and over 400 acres of estuarine sanctuary, the park offers unparalleled opportunities for learning through walking tours, field trips and hands-on activities touching on all of the State of New York’s learning standards.
Students come from around the country and world to participate in exciting internship activities at Hudson River Park. Many opportunities exist for educational advancement for students in high school, college, and post-graduate programs. Internships have centered on legal, design, education, events, and recreational programs. Special projects for academic credit are frequently accommodated, and support for assignments, projects, and academic papers is available by contacting Trust staff.

As a seasonal employee you can:
- Engage the public through our signature Big City Fishing program
- Work with students of all ages to deliver interactive educational programming throughout Hudson River Park
- Participate in environmental initiatives such as fish population research and the Clean Sanctuary Campaign
