Marine Operations
Hudson River Park’s waters are designated as a protected Estuarine Sanctuary by New York State law. To help preserve this very important resource while still providing for the safe operation of vessels, sanctuary waters are patrolled by the Hudson River Park Trust, NYC Police Deaprtment’s Harbor Unit, US Coast Guard and NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.
