Walking Tours
Greenwich Village

Greenwich Village in Hudson River Park is a wonderful place for a walk. Today's piers and the broad esplanade offer scenic views, fresh breezes and gardens, but they also have an unparalleled history. Guided walking tours are available through the Trust's Environment and Education Department.

Guided tours:

Greenwich Village History and Ecology

The Hudson River Park Trust and Friends of Hudson River Park offer periodic guided tours for the public. The trust also works with teachers on a request basis to conduct these programs. South to north: 13 stops between Houston St. and the Gansevoort Peninsula focus on both history and ecology. Print the Trust's self-guided tour.
