Although the Trust does not directly offer boat tours, cruises, or excursions in New York Harbor, many Park Partners are very active in providing such experiences for park visitors.

Pier 40: Floating the Apple emphasizes boat building and rowing for urban youth. Affairs Afloat operates harbor cruises. Downtown Boathouse offers free kayaking, and New York Kayaking Company offers kayaking tours and lessons.

Pier 45 at Christopher St and Pier 84 at W.44th St: New York Water Taxi offers ferry and other services both within Hudson River Park and around the harbor.

Piers 59 – 61 W.17th St to W.22nd St: Chelsea Piers has a number of yacht cruises and sail excursions.

Pier 66 at W.26th St: New York River Sports, a consortium of Manhattan Kayak Company, New York Outrigger and NY Kayak Polo, operates classes, tours, storage, free programs and club activities. Pier 66 at 26th St. The historic fireboat John J. Harvey and other vessels offer excursions to students and occasionaly others.

Pier 78 at W.39th St: NY Waterway offers ferry service, sightseeing cruises and baseball outings.

Pier 83: at W.43rd St: Circle Line at Pier 83 offers class excursions and public cruises.

Pier 96 at W.55th St: Downtown Boathouse offers free water programs every weekend during the boating season.
