The Hudson River Park Trust offers lectures to the public and to classes, either in the school or at Pier 40 on the river near West Houston Street. Depending on their availability, our diverse staff can lecture on a number of topics, though of course, the subject matter is oriented towards Hudson River Park.

Lectures are available on the following topics: (1) Overview of Hudson River Park; (2) Ecology of the Hudson River Park Estuarine Sanctuary; (3) Legal Aspects of Hudson River Park; (4) Waterfront History in Hudson River Park, (5) Hudson River Park Garden Life; and (6) Educational Programs in Hudson River Park.

If Hudson River Park staff travel to a location, the classroom or auditorium must have a laptop computer with PowerPoint capability, a DLP computer projector, and a projector screen. Lectures are free but the Trust does ask for donations when possible.
