Summer Of Fun, Not Yet Done!

September 1

Can’t get enough Summer of Fun in your Park? Neither can we! That’s why we’ve extended some of our favorite programs through September, and beyond! Whether you want to catch your favorite kid-friendly performances, get your outdoor fitness on, get up close and personal with Hudson River creatures, or take a tour through your West Side backyard, you’ve still got plenty of time!

Our popular Hudson RiverKids series continues through September 14, bringing music and family entertainment to weekday afternoons in Chelsea and Tribeca. We’ll round out our 2017 season with Mil’s Trills and The Pop Ups, who will delight younger Park fans and their families with playful, engaging musical performances!

Summer workout routines stay strong through the warm days of early fall with Healthy on the Hudson. Our new extended season keeps your favorite classes coming to Piers 25 and 46 through September 27. Nothing like working up a sweat in a cool breeze along the Hudson River!

September is also a great time to dive into marine science in your Park! Our annual SUBMERGE NYC Marine Science Festival invites everyone to spend a day as citizen scientists with free hands-on activities, kid-approved science entertainment, kayaking, dynamic presentations and more. Plus, you can drop a line with Senior Fishing through September 25, and Big City Fishing and Shell-ebrate Oysters both continue all the way through October 15, giving Park fans of all ages plenty of chances to learn about our Hudson River wildlife!

You can learn about land wildlife, too, when you join knowledgeable naturalists on our Hudson River Nature Walks, which continue through September 24. For those interested in digging into the Park’s past, Hudson History Walks on September 19 and October 17 will each give you a chance to discover a different part of Hudson River Park history.

And of course, we’ll keep the fun going well into fall with our popular Halloween Kidz Karnival on October 29! Saying so long to summer isn’t so tough with so much fun activity ahead, so mark your calendars – we’ll see you in the Park.
