Pier 42 Cross Street: Morton St.
Pier 45 Cross Street: W. 10th St.
Pier 46 Cross Street: Charles St.
Pier 51 Cross Street: Jane St.

In much of this area, the park has already been completed. Visitors can enjoy three magnificent new park piers, each providing a unique experience. Meet your friends at the new fountain at Christopher Street and enjoy a snack or cold beverage at the nearby concession stand before venturing out onto Pier 45 to sunbathe or watch the river flow. There's a dog run at Leroy Street, a children's water playground on Pier 51, restrooms between Piers 45 and 46 and at Pier 51, many great seating areas, grass lawns and a completed waterside esplanade.

Pier 45 is part of the first segment of Hudson River Park to be reconstructed. Amenities on this 850-foot long pier include shade structures, seating areas, wood decking, passive grass lawns, and a water taxi stop.

The esplanade between Piers 45 and 46 houses a food concession and restrooms. In this area, you can also find the bow notch. In the nineteenth century, this semicircular area was cut out from the land to accommodate longer ships without blocking the shipping channel.

Pier 51 is home to a maritime-themed children's playground. A water play area, climbing equipment and slides, viewing scopes and a "ship's bow" at the western edge of the pier are some of the playful amenities that can be found here. Restrooms are located at the foot of Pier 51 on the esplanade.

In the future
Pier 42’s future rehabilitation may include active space and an in-line skating area to the east, and passive areas for reading or relaxing on the west.
