Visionary Committee

The Friends of Hudson River Park Visionary Committee enlists invested volunteers, spirited fundraisers and strong ambassadors from diverse backgrounds to advocate and raise key funds that help preserve, enhance and complete Hudson River Park to ensure its vibrant future for decades to come.

This Committee was developed to encourage rising professionals and our next generation of influential leaders to become actively involved in the growth and enrichment of Hudson River Park, New York’s Park for Play.

BENEFITS

Committee Members have the opportunity to connect with other socially-conscious individuals who are engaged and passionate about supporting the Park and all its recreational, environmental and educational resources. Benefits include:

Networking: Meet and mingle with your peers at hosted events, happy hour receptions and exclusive fundraising celebrations, such as our annual Hudson River Park Games and the Friends Gala after party.

Access: Committee Members are invited to a variety of both professional networking and informal group outings throughout the year, providing behind-the-scenes experiences and opportunities to learn more about the
important work and ongoing development of the Park with Friends Board Members and leadership staff.

Entrepreneurial Opportunity: Members develop creative methods to inspire future generations of leaders to support the Park, and work to raise meaningful contribution funds.

Recognition: Members are listed here our website, on promotional Committee materials and acknowledged at Friends fundraising events.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Visionary Committee Members are asked to share their time, talent and resources to support Friends of Hudson River Park in the following ways:
